Easy Anti-Cheat
EAC firmware: what to check.
For an EAC-protected game, check the game, your motherboard and BIOS, and the separate software together. rDMA+ is SwiftDMA’s custom BIOS firmware; an EAC label alone does not establish compatibility.

What does “EAC firmware” mean?
In a purchase enquiry, the phrase usually describes DMA firmware intended for a game that uses Easy Anti-Cheat. It is not the name of a single firmware package supplied by EAC. Easy Anti-Cheat describes its own product as an anti-cheat service that is part of Epic Online Services.
SwiftDMA’s product is rDMA+ custom BIOS firmware, prepared for the motherboard and BIOS file you provide. It enables memory access over LAN between a gaming PC and a second PC, without a separate DMA card. The order includes companion connection tools and LeechCore compatibility; separate game-software licences are not included.
Does support for EAC cover every game?
No. The anti-cheat name is only part of the enquiry. Different games, clients, modes, and updates can have different requirements. SwiftDMA lists EAC among the environments to discuss during a compatibility check; that should not be read as confirmation for every EAC title or future update.
Start with the relevant game: the Fortnite firmware guide separates game requirements from tournament requirements, while the Rust firmware guide explains why the intended server context matters. Neither page substitutes for a check of your exact setup.
What information is needed for an EAC compatibility check?
- The exact game, PC client, and mode or server context you intend to use.
- Your motherboard make and model, current BIOS version, and Windows version.
- The second PC’s basic specifications and available network connections.
- The particular game software you plan to use and whether you already hold its licence.
- Any recent change to the game, BIOS, operating system, or connection arrangement.
Use the complete hardware checklist in a private Discord ticket. Staff will request the original BIOS file needed for preparation and confirm the proposed order. A game’s minimum PC specifications do not establish rDMA+ compatibility.
Can Secure Boot and IOMMU remain enabled?
They can remain enabled on supported rDMA+ configurations. Confirm that statement for your motherboard and BIOS while also following the current requirements of the game you intend to play. A firmware compatibility statement does not replace the game’s security requirements.
EAC maintains official player-support articles, including additional security requirements and software/system compatibility. Consult the appropriate game’s official guidance for the requirement that applies to your mode or server; do not copy a configuration from an unrelated EAC game.
Will buying firmware fix an EAC installation error?
An EAC installation or service error is a separate support issue. For example, Epic says EAC is required to play Fortnite and provides its own installation guidance. Buying custom BIOS firmware should not be treated as the remedy for a missing game component.
Describe the observed problem and its error message before changing anything. Game-client or anti-cheat errors belong with the game’s official support; a problem with delivered rDMA+ firmware belongs in your SwiftDMA support ticket. Keep order details and private system information out of public posts.
What happens if a game update affects my firmware?
Report what stopped working, which game and software are involved, and what changed. The three-month firmware warranty starts when you receive the firmware: failures reported within that period are investigated for firmware repair or replacement at no additional charge.
Firmware access continues after the coverage period. Failures reported during the three months are handled under the firmware warranty, including failures noticed after an update. Coverage does not promise compatibility indefinitely. Confirm a planned BIOS or hardware change before relying on an earlier compatibility assessment.
