FACEIT
FACEIT DMA firmware: check the complete setup.
SwiftDMA lists FACEIT among the environments supported by rDMA+. Your exact motherboard, BIOS, Windows version, second PC, and intended software still need a compatibility check before purchase.
By SwiftDMA · Information updated
What does FACEIT DMA firmware mean here?
Here it means an enquiry about using SwiftDMA's rDMA+ custom BIOS firmware in a FACEIT environment. rDMA+ is prepared for the motherboard and original BIOS file you supply. It connects a gaming PC with a second PC over your network or directly by Ethernet, without a separate DMA card.
A FACEIT reference in a product description is not a complete compatibility specification. Tell staff exactly what you plan to use. The rDMA+ product page explains the package and how firmware preparation works.
Is FACEIT support the same as CS2 support?
No. Name both the game and the environment in your enquiry. “CS2” identifies Counter-Strike 2; “CS2 on FACEIT” provides the additional platform context needed for the assessment. A compatibility statement for one configuration should not be carried over to another without checking.
FACEIT publishes its own Anti-Cheat requirements and says most players in queues for supported games must use it. See the official FACEIT beginner guide for platform context. Our separate CS2 firmware guide covers the game-specific questions to include.
Can Secure Boot and IOMMU stay enabled?
Yes, on supported rDMA+ configurations. Ask for confirmation against your actual motherboard and BIOS instead of assuming that every PC uses the same settings.
FACEIT's Windows Security Requirements FAQ discusses TPM 2.0, Secure Boot, IOMMU and VBS, including a staged rollout of requirements. Those are FACEIT's own requirements; the document does not test, approve, or endorse SwiftDMA. Follow current platform and motherboard guidance when a security requirement needs attention.
What should I send for a FACEIT compatibility check?
Send the following together in a private Discord ticket so staff can consider one complete configuration:
- The exact motherboard manufacturer and model, plus the installed BIOS version.
- Your gaming PC's Windows version and any relevant requirement or error message.
- The second PC's basic specifications and available network connections.
- Whether the PCs will share a network or use a direct Ethernet connection.
- The game, whether you will use FACEIT, and the separate software you intend to run.
- Any planned motherboard, BIOS, Windows, or software changes.
The full compatibility checklist explains why these details matter. You do not need to post account credentials or personal order details publicly.
Does buying firmware include all the software?
The rDMA+ package includes a gaming-PC installer and uninstaller, a launcher for the second PC, LeechCore compatibility, and setup assistance. Separate game-software licences are not included.
Identify the software before you buy. An answer about firmware compatibility does not establish the licence, features, or support terms of another product. Existing card firmware is also not interchangeable with the prepared rDMA+ BIOS file.
What if FACEIT, Windows, or my BIOS changes?
Raise relevant changes with staff so the assessment continues to describe your actual configuration. Keep your original BIOS backup and the preparation information associated with your order. Read the BIOS update and hardware-change checklist before changing the assessed setup. Firmware failures reported during the three-month coverage period follow the warranty explained below.
If something stops working, describe the observed problem, when it began, and what changed. Avoid diagnosing every launch error as a firmware failure. A platform error message and a firmware issue may need different support routes.
What price and firmware warranty apply?
The listed rDMA+ launch offer is €400 for the first five customers; the standard price is €650. Confirm launch availability and preparation time before ordering.
The three-month warranty starts when you receive the firmware. Report a firmware failure within that period for investigation and repair or replacement at no additional charge. Firmware access continues after the coverage period. Read the complete warranty explanation and general questions and answers before purchase.
